MICRO-PUBLISHING SUMMER RESIDENCY
Possible Worlds is pleased to host a second summer of micro-publishing residencies from mid-July to early September 2026.
These self-directed micro-publishing residencies are intended to help artists who would benefit from dedicated time and space toward the development of a DIY or small press publishing project (zines, artists' books, comics, etc.) that they have in mind. Micro-residencies are one week in duration at our studio in downtown Ottawa. There is also an option for artists to publish their project in zine form with Possible Worlds.
Individual artists are invited to apply. We will support at least two residencies, with at least one spot supporting an artist who self-identifies as racialized. Local and out-of-town artists are welcome.
These residencies are funded by Possible Worlds, with additional supports provided in-kind by Possible Worlds and programming led by Director Melanie Yugo.
Deadline to apply: 11:59 PM ET on June 30, 2026. Notifications will be sent out by July 4, 2026.
