HYPERCOLOUR FUTURES SUMMER SCHOOL
Get ready for a summer of experimental publishing at Possible Worlds, as part of our 10-year anniversary programming.
Hypercolour Futures is summer school program presented by Possible Worlds that is focused on experimental publishing. Four sessions over five weeks will be presented in July and August 2025, led by racialized artists. Each session is part artist talk/lecture, part workshop. Guest artists will share art, design and publishing practices from their perspectives and engage participants in activities for idea generation.
Participants will come away with new knowledge and skills to tell their stories and develop or refine a future publication project. Artists, designers, publishers, educators, cultural workers and creatives from all backgrounds are invited to participate and expand their creative practice. No prior experience is needed to join a session.
You can choose to attend one or all sessions. Space is limited. Two options for sessions fees are available: (1) general or (2) for those who self-identify as part of an equity-deserving group. Session fees will go towards future Possible Worlds residencies and summer schools.
We gratefully acknowledge the financial support of the City of Ottawa Equity and Inclusion in the Arts Fund for this project.
