Zine Club with Ottawa Public Library

Free to participate. No experience required.
Registration preferred.​ Drop-ins welcome, subject to room capacity.​

At the June 2025 Zine Club, join Possible Worlds and local cartoonist Oscar Dennis to meet up, share and collaborate on zines.

Possible Worlds is partnering with the Ottawa Public Library, Rosemount Branch to present Zine Club, a series of meetups/workshops focused on zines, storytelling, sharing and documenting.

Each session will feature a theme and zine artist, and creative prompts to create a one-sheet zine as the basis for a future zine project.

Participants are also encouraged to bring zines from their collection for inspiration and discussion.

Capacity at the Rosemount Branch is limited, so those interested are encouraged to register in advance

ABOUT THE GUEST ARTIST

Oscar Dennis is an Ottawa-based cartoonist. He is the creator of the comics Stu the Pseud Starts a Circus (2019) and How to Apologize for Existing without Being Annoying About It (2024), among others. His newest work is the science fiction/baseball comic A Power Pitcher. He publishes his comics weekly in the newsletter Humour Risk (odennis.substack.com).
