Possible Worlds is heading to Mexico City to once again be part of Hardcore Art Book Fair. Hardcore is an art book fair powered by Can Can Press in partnership with LagoAlgo. Independent publishers, creatives, designers, and editors from around the world are brought together, creating a space to share editions, experiences, and exchange ideas.

Possible Worlds Co-Directors Melanie Yugo and Jason Skilz will discuss building and sustaining an independent print and music project space and cassette label outside traditional art world structures.

Covering artist books, tapes, events, art book fairs, residencies, knowledge-sharing, collaboration and cultural organizing, this talk explores how an expansive and inclusive view of small-scale art and music publishing can create community, support experimental work, and build alternative cultural infrastructure from the ground up.
