Exhibition: Early Vacation: New Artworks by Emmanuel Okot (Ottawa)

It's the opening night of our first exhibition of the year, featuring work by Ottawa emerging artist Emmanuel Okot. In Early Vacation, self-taught artist Okot frames his work as an “experimental get-away” where he explores different modes of visual expression through painting and mixed media. Combining street art culture influences and day-to-day feelings and thoughts, Okot creates abstract, graphic pieces, reminiscent of graffiti walls layered in a dreamlike state. New and original artwork and print editions available for purchase. Show runs on our gallery wall from March 17 to April 12.
