SCHOOL WORKSHOPS
Get students engaged with your current curriculum through hands-on art workshops.
As part of our Mobile Art Studio, we’ll bring silkscreening, bookmaking, zinemaking or a combination of each to your classroom. Learning experiences can be a single visit or through a more in-depth program.
We can also create school swag for events and fundraisers, or facilitate student work to showcase at the end of the year.
SAMPLE SCHOOL WORKSHOPS
Choose from one of the popular school workshops below, or suggest an idea. We’ll work together to customize the workshop to your budget, goals and skill levels.
Create a Zine
Each student will create a zine on a subject of their or your choosing, such as history, poetry, their family, their hobbies, sports, music or current issues. Print 10+ zines for students to share and trade.
School Swag / School Pride
Students and teachers will learn to print on tote bags and t-shirts using pre-made screens with their logo/hashtag/school mascot. Perfect for special events and fundraisers.
Field Trip Walk
Explore the neighbourhood or community around your school. Or stay indoors and ask students to think of their favourite place. Using simple silkscreening methods, create prints that reflect their visit.
International Geo-Graphic
Students will design a personal flag with symbols representing the most important elements of their identity and the stories they would like to share, using simple stencilling and stamp methods.
