WHAT YOU'LL TAKE AWAY: In this special taster workshop, print your own set of one-colour silkscreened holiday or general greeting cards (up to 20) with your own design. You'll be working in pairs, so consider signing up with a friend.
For all creative levels, no experience needed. You'll be asked to provide your design in advance of the workshop so we can prepare your screen and get you set to print. More information on how to prepare will be sent you prior to the workshop.
Fee includes all silkscreening materials. Participants provide the paper for printing (smooth, rather than textured paper, is best).
Spaces are limited per workshop (up to 6 participants).
Facilitated by artist-creative director Melanie Yugo of Spins & Needles and Possible Worlds (melanieyugo.com). For over 10 years, Melanie has led classes and workshops on silkscreening and other graphic arts locally at Algonquin College, Ottawa Art Gallery, National Gallery of Canada, University of Ottawa, Cantebury High School, Ashbury College, Glebe Collegiate, as well as for festivals and institutions in the U.S., U.K. and Europe.

SILKSCREENING STARTER SET: Take your screen with your own image for an additional $25 or a professional grade squeegee for $15. Buy both for $35.
